Wellness Get Away
Treat yourself to a special few days of just you. Focus on what you most want to do or what you feel you most need at this time. If it is to be alone with your thoughts and listen to your inner voice, then choose to come alone, have food provided, take advantage of relaxing baths and body work, walk along the creek in solitude, sit and smell the flowers.
If it is to express who you are and be supported by loved ones, choose a more social interaction and book with friends or family. There is nothing better for building a sense of belonging than laughing together, and yes, even crying and sharing tears. Join in food preparation, schedule fun and educational classes like tea time to add to your life skills, play dominoes or croquet, sit around the fire and howl at the moon. There are many options to choose from to satisfy any group.
These package deals are custom designed with you in mind. There is a basic price for accommodations and healthy food using local and/or organic ingredients when possible. Personal preferences need to be communicated such as gluten free, dairy free, vegan, etc. Nourishing food may be provided or you can participate in its preparation. The other options are your choice depending upon your current needs, desires, and budget. A phone conversation about details must happen at least 10 days prior to booking so we can better prepare your own personal get away.
There are many educational options. Private consultations focus on specific areas of personal interest but keep in mind that these are NOT clinical sessions but educational. They are to assist in better understanding how complementary health care and plant medicines can enhance total well being.
Classes are available on a wide variety of subjects to inspire learning and stimulate change. These may be an informative lecture or a hands on doing workshop. Doing is good for making things like medicines (salves, tinctures, tea) and bath products (salts, oils, scrubs). Refer to the education tab under services for a list of possible topics.
Body work is always beneficial for restoring balance. I have a certificate in foot reflexology and am pretty good at face and scalp massage just because I know what feels good to me but I do not have a license. Massages with licensed professionals can be arranged in advance for onsite therapy.
This outdoor setting offers nature walks along the creek and a fishing hole if you bring your own pole. On site there is croquet, basketball, volleyball and ping pong. Weights are available for strength exercising to build bone density. For enjoyable movement, I offer line dancing and belly dancing. It may be possible to arrange for other forms of exercise such as yoga with local professionals but these options must be discussed when booking to attempt such arrangements.
Basic Cost- 2 night minimum
Room and board: Single person, 1 bedroom/1 bath with three healthy meals is $125/day. Add an additional person in bedroom for $75/day
